ENDING YEAR 2008 WITH A VERY POSITIVE BALANCE

We conducted balance of the year 2008 and we can say that so far has been very positive.

During all these years dedicated to the breed, we made a very careful in the selection of individuals that we have imported dogs, kept at home and to integrate into our breeding and selection in the breedings we have done. The result has been to have dogs healthy, beautiful, harmonious and well balanced.

Today we are very proud to be assured of securing our Kennel in Spain and it begin to recognize as a reference point of the breed beyond our borders.

Proof of this are all the titles and wins awards at national and international that confirm that our Shar-Peis meet the standard 100% of beauty of the breed wich governs the FCI. Today our dogs are competing in Europe, in countries like Finland, Sweden, Italy, Portugal, Lithuania, Slovenia, Russia, Lavie and some of the achievements of our shar-peis are:

Currently, our puppies are in homes throughout the Spanish and some of them have been exported to different countries, including France, Portgual, Italy, Sweden, Finland and Brazil.

There is still a long of way to go, and we hope that the year just started so wishes as was 2008.

Finally, here we want to thank all the judges who have very positively to our dogs, giving good ratings to all friends who have supported us throughout our history and all the happy owner of "Dragon de Koshi" every day they feel that the Shar-Pei is a peculiar and extraordinary breed ...

We just get a picture of the delivery of "Dragon de Koshi Norton Come Back to me". We know it was a very special day for Vanessa and Juan and very exciting for all of us who were there awaiting the delivery of the "surprise wrinkled".

We are sure that from noow on, every day is also very special to our little "Norton in the beautiful citu of Almería.

After several days of rain, this morning the sun came out and we wanted to take some pictures of puppies that are about 12 weeks old.

We know it will soon be leaving with their new families, but in the meantime enjoy their company and its games.

WE RECEIVE SOME VISIT FROM BARCELONA AND MALAGA

During these days of holidays, we have delivered many of our puppies to their new owners. We will be very happy and hope to soon have news of them all.

From Alhaurín de la Torre (Málaga) Sergio from kennel Budapeis, visited ous, picking up his little chocolate "Venus".

Also we deliver to our dear "Platoon" to a wonderful couple, Robert and Lourdes. We are very happy because they will live very near to home and we will haver a direct contact.

We just get great news from Finland with a career unstoppable, "Dragon de Koshi Indiana Jones" (owned of Mari Vapalo and Johanna - Kennel Jasdoren), finishes his Championship in class young, and proclaims JUNIOR CHAMPION OF ESTONIA, LATVIA, LITHUANIA, BALTIC AND RUSSIA, winning in two dogshow this weekend:

NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL IN  VALENCIA
TWO DAYS OF DOG SHOW: 2 BEST OF BREED AND 2 BEST JUNIO !!!!!

This weekend we travel to Valencia to participate in the National and International Dog Show being held in the Exhibition Palace of that city.

With a large influx of dogs, which is the las dogshow to be held in Spain in 2008, the two days we get to the end of breed with our female "Gala Red del Dragon de Koshi".

On Satuday, was tried by a judge allrounder Mr. Javier Sánchez and the finals in Group 2 were tried by judge Mr. Alfonso Thovar that ranked among the top 6 dogs in Group 2.

On Sunday, the judge Mr. Alfonso Thovar, opted for "Gala" to represent the breed in the finals in Grup 2.

With "Dragon de Koshi Keeper you Are the Music in me", which involved most recently in Junior Class, the two days won BEST JUNIOR.

We could not finish better this year with these excellent results.

NATIONAL DOG SHOW IN SANT FOST DE CAMPCENTELLES (BARCELONA)

On Sunday, the 9th of November the National Dog Show took place in the locality of Barcelona of Sant Fost of Campcentelles. This one Competed it was puntuable for the Championship of Catalunya. The judgment ran in charge of Missis Luisa Fernández.

"Dragon de Koshi Ice Surprise Fawn" (owner by Juan Carlos and Mónica), he has obtained in his class, Excellent 1st, staying to a point to obtain his Championship of Catalunya.
The BEST OPPOSITE SEX, was the female breed in house, "Fibi Black C-C del Dragon de Koshi" (owner by Xavi y Sandra), daughter from Multi Champion"Epis Hot Cocoa for Dragon de Koshi" and from Multi Champion "Wrinkled Eyes Honey Cloe", and the BEST OF BREED was our Champion "Dragon de Koshi Keeper you Are the Music in me", that from the Junior Class, is obtaining exceptional results.

Once in the finals of Group, " Keeper " stood out with his movement and his attraction, managing to stay
3rd GRUP 2 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NEW LITTER DRAGON OF KOSHI: " VICKY " AND " KEEPER "

The night from Wednesday until Thursday, a very awaited litter was born in house, children of our Multi Champion "Svejii Veter Rainbow Victories for Nantou" and of our Junior Champion "Dragon de Koshi Keeper you are the Music in me".

The litter is composed by 5 beautiful puppies, 2 males and 3 females, all BC of American line, and of a color as spectacular as his mother, mahogany.

We have waited anxious for the birth of this litter since both Vicky and Keeper make début as parents, and can say that we are very satisfied with results of this crossing and hope that the puppies should acquire all the good qualities of his proud parents.

INTERNATIONAL DOGSHOW MARTORELL (BARCELONA):
TWO DOGS DRAGON DE KOSHI FINISH HIS CHAMPIONSHIP OF CATALUNYA AND GAIN THE BEST JUNIOR AND THE BEST OF BREED

This weekend we have come to the International DogShow in Martorell (Barcelona). In this edition more than 1200 dogs took part and there was realized the selection of the dog that will represent Spain in next Eukanuba Cup World Challenger.

In the Junior Class males, we present to "Dragon de Koshi Keeper you Are the Music in me, son of Multi Champion " Khambaliq-Margem True Style " and " Lía de la Madrugada", obtaining the first place in his Class and finishing with this exit, the Championship of CHAMPION JUNIOR OF CATALUNYA 2008, be the obtained one 6 necessary points in only 6 exits to ring.

In the Junior Class females, we manage to stand out with "Dragon de Koshi Eternal Gold Jewel", daughter of Multi Champion " Khambaliq-Margem True Style " and of Multi Champion "Wrinkled Eyes Honey Cloe", on having obtained the Excellent 1st one in her Class.

In the final of the BEST OF BREED, the Judge Allrounder, specialist in Shar-Peis, Mrs. Natalja Nekrosiene, it was praised by " Keeper " highlighting his big qualities for ring and his excellent morphologic shape with only 12 months of age.

    

 In the Champion Class, we take part with our Multi Champion "Epis Hot Cocoa for Dragon de Koshi", obtaining the Excellent 1st one, and the CACIB granted by the FCI, finished his Championship.

With "Fibi Black C-C del Dragon de Koshi" (property of Xavi and Sandra), daughter of Multi Champion "Epis Hot Cocoa for Dragon de Koshi" and of Multi Champion "Wrinkled Eyes Honey Cloe", we take part in the Open Class and we obtained the qualification of Excellent 1st, CAC, CACIB, and BEST OF BREED, obtaining the last point necessary for the CHAMPION'S title OF CATALUNYA 2008.

In the final of the Best of Breed, 4 dogs that they were competing for the qualification of Better of Breed, were of our kennel and/or property: " Keeper ", " Jewel ", " Cocoa " and " Fibi "

We want to be grateful to Xavi and Sandra for the work realized with Fibi and her excellent presentation.

 How does it close of a day full of satisfactions and happy moments, our Kennel DRAGON DE KOSHI, did it obtain the second position of the baby's Best Lot of the Dog Show.

THERE IS BORN IN HOUSE OUR FIRST LITTER OF PUPPIES LILACS AND CHOCOLATS

We are very glad to be able to announce the first born litter in house of puppies of "Pandoras Donna Lilac Whisper" and of Multi Champion "Epis Hot Cocoa for Dragon de Koshi".

This crossing was selected, not only for the fan of color that we could obtain, but for the excellent qualities that both the father and the mother will contribute: morphology, character and health.

The litter is composed by 5 puppies, 2 males of color lilac and 3 females of color lilac and chocolate.

The childbearing was very rapid and easy, since Donna has us used, and the puppies and the mother are marvellously

EUROPEAN DOG SHOW- BUDAPEST (HUNGARY)

In this occasion, our passion for the world of the dog show has taken us to the city of Budapest (Hungary), where the European Dog Show 2008 was celebrated, with a participation that reached almost 15.000 dogs.

The breed Shar-Pei had an inscription of 113 dogs in catalogue. Once again, the strip was placing very highly, but we obtain our aims:

Dragon de Koshi Keeper you Are the Music in me, was proclaimed, BEST JUNIOR MALE and BEST JUNIOR ABSOLUTE, obtaining with it the title of EUROPEAN JUNIOR WINNER 2008 and his 3 ª Qualification for Crufts.

Multi Ch. Svejii Veter Rainbow Victories for Nantou, in Champion Class, obtained an Excellent just deserts.

To have obtained this so important title with a male bred and selected by us, it fills us with pride and satisfaction and encourages us to continue being employed at this direction with the objective road surface of improving the breed.

NATIONAL DOG SHOW TÁRREGA  (LÉRIDA), 28/09/2008

Taking advantage of the National Dog Show that was celebrated in Tárrega's city (Lerida), valid for Catalunya's Championship, we have happened on a Sunday entertained with several friends: Xavi and Sandra (owners of Fibi and Ona), Juan Carlos and Mónica (owners of Ice), Vane, Nuria-Chow, David and David JR Bull.....

The cherry of the cake they have been them excellently proved obtained in the Dog Show for all our Shar-Peis that have been judged by Ms Rosa Maria Borrell, granting the Best of Group 2 to our "Vicky". Later, between all the Best of the Groups, the Judge Mr Vicente Gascó, has rewarded "Vicky" with 3 º BIS

CHAMPIONSHIP OF GIBRALTAR, SEPTEMBER 20 AND 21, 2008

Like we did the previous year, we have realized a long trip, of more than 1100 Kilometres, up to our neighboring country, Gibraltar, where there has been disputed this weekend the Championship of the country and the Qualification to attend Crufts 2009.

Unlike other years, this time we have found a great number of inscriptions and of exhibitors, emphasizing a high quality in the presented Shar-Peis. We are very satisfied because once again, our young male, “Dragon de Koshi Keeper you are the Music in me”, he has managed to stand out in the competition, remaining first two days in his Class, obtaining the Qualification for Crufts 2009 and the title of GIBRALTAR JUNIOR CHAMPION.
 

    

Por otro lado, en clase Abierta, , conseguía el GCC y CACIB, finalizando su Campeonato y proclamándose CAMPEONA DE GIBRALTAR y obteniendo su tercera Calificación para Crufts 2009.

On the other hand, in Open class, “Ch. Svejii Veter Rainbow Victories for Nantou”, she was obtaining the GCC and CACIB, finishing her Championship and being proclaimed GIBRALTAR CHAMPION and obtaining her third Qualification for Crufts 2009.

LUXEMBOURG CHAMPIONSHIP, SEPTEMBER 5, 2008

 On Friday, September 5, starting with Luxembourg for several breeders and friends to participate in the International Dog Show of Luxembourg, point valid for the Championship in that country.

The journey was long and tiring, with very low temperatures and rainy days, but once in Luxembourg and accommodated at the hotel, we were able to relax and rest to attend the Dog Show the next day. After the day at the Dog Show, organized for Saturday night dinner where we met with other Spanish and Italian breeders, enjoying their company and experience, and as always, devote entire evening to talk about our great passion: the dogs.

  

On Sunday, Group 2 was judged, and Madam Anna Brankovic was responsible for judging the breed Shar-Pei.

We present a “Dragon de Koshi Keeper you are the Music in me”, obtaining a Excellent 2nd in Young Class. In a large Open Class was presented to "Gala Red del Dragon de Koshi", get a Excellent 2nd, Reserve CAC, and Champions Class, presented to “Ch. Svejii Veter Rainbow Victories for Nantou”, with her getting, CAC, CACIB, Best Female and Best of Breed.

Once in the finals in Group 2, the Serbian judge, Zoran Brankovic, "Vicky" chose between 6 Best in the Group. With this result, Vicky gets two new titles: CHAMPION OF LUXEMBOURG and INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION (ph).

We are very pleased with the results obtained with all our dogs, bearing in mind that the show was highly disputed because of the large number of entries and the high quality of the dogs presented, as is customary in such International Dog Show, and once more over, we manage to put all the Shar-Peis presented in the top positions in their respective classes, and above all very proud that “Vicky” get the BOB and highlight the finals in Group 2.

NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL DOG SHOW IN PAMPLONA

On Sunday, September 7, took place the Dog International Show of Navarra, in the city of Pamplona. We come with "Cocoa" and "Fibi" (father and daughter) who were tried by the Serbian judge, Mr. Milivoje Urosevic, getting some excellent results:

ITALIAN NATIONAL SPECIALITY IN PARMA

This weekend was held in Parma (Italy) National Dog Show Special breed Shar-Pei, organized by the Club of Shar-Pei in Italy. Much to our regret, we could not be there to compete because it overlapped other Dog Shows to which we should go (Luxembourg and Pamplona).

The organization, as always excellent, this event decided to invite Mrs. Gayle Gold (USA) to judge this Speciality, given to Mrs Gold breeders one of the pioneers of American breed.

We are very happy of the results obtained in this Special, as our friend Isabella Pizzamiglio (Kennel Khambaliq), introduced a “Dragon de Koshi Sweet Dream Justine”, female breed at home and their property, daughter of “Multi Champion Khambaliq-Margem True Style” and “Multi Champion Wrinkled Eyes Honey Cloe, achieving a third place in Junior Class.

The father of "Justine" father of our youth promise "Keeper" and "Jewel", "Multi-Champion Khambaliq-Margem True Style" (owned by Isabella Pizzamiglio), with 9 years old, won the Veterans Class, and got the Best of Breed of the Speciality !!!!!!!

Congratulations to Isabella for this great triumph and "True" because it is a love of Shar-Pei ¡!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ALREADY THERE ARE HERE THE PUPPIES OF EBONY AND ZOR

The evening of September 2, there were born the puppies of "Epics Sweet Song of the Blue Ebony" and our Champion "Zor A-K de la Madrugada". The childbirth was very rapid and without any complication. They have been 5 beautiful puppies, 3 males (2 black color and 1 brown color) and 2 females (black color), all of them with the mantle type brushcoat.

WEEKEND IN PORTUGAL: TWO CACs, ONE CACIB, TWO BEST JUNIOR, TWO BEST OF BREED AND VICKY FINISH HER CHAMPIONSHIP OF PORTUGAL

On 23 and 24 August, went to the National and International Dog Show which takes place in the coastal town of Estoril (Portugal) with some our Shar-Peis, "Vicky" and our junior promise "Keeper".

The results were in Estoril:

EXPOSICIÓN CANINA INTERNACIONAL LISBOA (PORTUGAL)

As usually happens in this summer, is being held in the city of Lisbon, the International Dog Show in wich its puts at stake the point required for the Championship in Portugal, entiled "Lisbon Winner 2008" and, in this edition, "Mediterranean Winner 2008".

Here we share a fun weekend with several breeders, lovers and friends of the breed.

We are satisfied with the results, achieving the title of "JUNIOR LISBON WINNER 2008" (JLW08), and the Qualification for Crufts 2009, with the dog breeder by us, "Dragon de Koshi Keeper you are the Music in me". With our female "Svejii Veter Rainbow Victories for Nantou", we obtained a RCAC and RCACIB.
 

     

From here, we want to congratulate the Club Portuges of Canicultura by the wise choice of location of the Dog Show and good organization conducted as usual in this club.

We hope, as is customary, able to call on the next edition.

INTERNATIONAL SPECIAL DOG SHOW IN TERNI (ITALY) - ON MAY 24, 2008

We are very satisfied and excited about the debut of our small " Dragon of Koshi Red Sweet Dream Justine " (property of Isabella Pizzamiglio - Kennel Khambaliq), in the International Special Dog Show celebrated in the city of Terni (Italy).

EXCELLENTS RESULTS IN THE INTERNATIONAL DOG SHOW FOR CHAMPIONSHIP SPAIN (TALAVERA DE LA REINA - TOLEDO- ESPAÑA)

The Internacional Dog Show celebrated  in Talavera de la Reina (Toledo - España), for being the obligatory point for the Championship of Spain and famous for its big number of dogs (during this year it lodged about 4000 dogs), fulfilled us with pride by the excellent results obtained with all our dogs. The judgement was carried out by the Spanish Judge, Mrs. Alejandra Galofré Moragas.

"Ch. Epìcs Hot Cocoa for Dragon de Koshi" - EXCELLENT 3º

QUALIFIED FOR CRUFTS 2009 and she is proclaimed CHAMPION OF SPAIN (p.h.)

Also we coincide during the Exhibition with several friends, between them Estefanía and Frank, which presented her Shar-pei, Hera, obtaining with her very good results, and the children of this one and Cocoa, Aten and Rufo, obtaining with Aten, Excellent 2nd, and with Rufo, Excellent 1st, BEST YOUNG.

LITTER BORN IN HOUSE, CHILDREN OF "GALA RED DEL DRAGON DE KOSHI" Y
"BELLSHOW TAMAGOCHI FOR DRAGON DE KOSHI"

Gala and Max have been dads of 2 beautiful pups brush coat of red color. The childbearing was complicated and very long because for Gala has been her first childbearing and the pups were very big. Three pups were born, but one of the small ones could not survive.

NATIONAL DOG SHOW VIANA DO CASTELO AND INTERNATIONAL DOG SHOW
PEÑAFIEL (PORTUGAL)

Last weekend of April, we move to our Shar-Peis by country to present "Svejii Veter Rainbow Victories for Nantou" to the National Dog Show of Viana do Castelo and to the International Dog Show of Peñafiel (Portugal).

We were judged by the German judge, M. Horst Kliebenstein and the Netherland judge, Ms. Ilona Ostenk-Schenk. In both Dogs Shows we obtain the points necessary for the Championship of Portugal, obtaining two CACs and a CACIB.

EXCELLENT DEBUT OF OUR NEW PROMISES IN THE DOG SHOW
INTERNATIONAL OF GERONA

We come to the Dog Show International celebrated in Gerona with three of our new puppies: "Dragon de Koshi Keeper you are the Music in me", "Dragon de Koshi the Sunset in Kenya" and "Dragon de Koshi Eternal Gold Jewel".

We take ourselves a pleasant surprise on having verified that in his first exit to ring, all our puppies behaved marvellously and obtained excellently results granted by the Judge of Slovenia, mister Miroslav Zidar: "Keeper", BEST MALE PUPPY, "Ice" (property of Juan Carlos and Mónica) 2nd BEST MALE PUPPY, and "Kenya" and "Jewel" 2nd and 3rd in her class, competing with a big number of puppies.

The Best Breeder Class was for our affix " Dragon de Koshi " and it is dedicated especially to all those who it have made possible:
Xavi and Sandra, Ernest and Carla (that could not be there with Dayree), Juan Carlos and Mónica
with Fibi, Ice, Kenya, Keeper, Jewel and Gala.

JUSTINE IS IN ITALY

Yesterday we move to France to deliver to "Dragon de Koshi Red Sweet Dream Justine". She is daughter of Multi Champion "Khambaliq Margem True Style " and of our Multi Champion " Wrinkled Eyes Honey Cloe ".

Justine will be with our friend Isabella Pizzamiglio in the Italian kennel Khambaliq.

Justine has been very special for us and we hope to see her very soon in the rings of Europe.

APPOINTMENT IN CRUFTS 2008

A few days ago we return from the trip to Birmingham (United Kingdom) after having taken part in the famous Exhibition "Dog Show Crufts". We travel with Nuria Vigo (Chow-Chows Perros de Bigo), Rosa (Bulldogs Tres Llunes), Ruth (canine hairdresser) and his respective dogs.

The trip was something "eventful" since we meet a big storm of cold and snow in France. Although we do not manage to qualify with Cloe, for us it is a pride that several of our dogs have been invited to Crufts and to be able to take part again in this extraordinary event.

WE UPDATE THE LAST RESULTS OF COCOA

We publish in the paragraph of Shows of "Ch. Epics Hot Cocoa for Dragon de Koshi" the last results obtained in his tour by Europe, managing to finish his Championship in Romania and Internationally, CACs, CACIBs and BOBs in Italy, Romania and Hungary, as well as the Card of Qualification to take part in Crufts 2008.

ZARAGOZA, MEETING 70 SHAR-PEIS TO CHOOSE TO THE OBLIGATORY POINT OF CHAMPIONSHIP OF SPAIN IN THE INTERNATIONAL DOG SHOW

This year, the itinerant point has been celebrated in the nice city of Zaragoza. There we meet good friends and happen a relaxed and entertaining day.
With a big inflow of quality dogs, our Shar-Peis managed to stand out in all the classes, staying in the first positions of every category.

"Ch. Zor A-K de la Madrugada" rose with the 4th position in a disputed Open class, with 19 males in catalogue. "Svejii Veter Rainbow Victories for Nantou", in a Open class with 17 females, obtained the Excellent 4th one and we turned to feel very proud with "Gala Z-L del Dragon de Koshi", female breeded in house, on having remained first in his numerous class and having obtained the Reserve of CAC and Reserve of CACIB

HAPPY AND PROUD WITH THE RESULTS OF "VICKY" IN PORTUGAL

We begin the year 2008 coming with "Svejii Veter Rainbow Victories for Nantou" and with "Faith Black del Dragon de Koshi" to the National and International Dog Show celebrated in the city of Oporto (Portugal), obligatory Point for the Championship of Portugal.

We are really very satisfied and proud, since existing a very high participation (28 dogs in catalogue), our "Vicky" has obtained the longed one Q-CAC and CACIB, standing out as BETTER OPPOSITE SEX.
